STATIC!

I bursted into laughter when I looked over at Chase in his playhouse.....his hair was standing straight up!!!! Haha! I am not sure what he did or leaned against, but it was picture perfect :)

Belly Button

I am not sure how this started, maybe he got sand under his shirt. He stood up and started poking his belly button and then got out of the sandbox to show Frosty! I really wonder what was going through his mind.

Outside Exploration

Chase, Mommy and Daddy played outside for almost 2 hours yesterday. We had a great time. No jacket or hat either! The weather was perfect!

Wishful Thinking!

We took down all the Christmas decorations yesterday and carried them back to the building.....Chase wanted to hang out with Frosty a little while longer. Too bad we can't make a real "Frosty" in the 70 degree weather, huh? Maybe one day!

All My Favorite Things!

Yesterday morning Chase did not want to wear his slippers downstairs. He insisted he wear his "choo choo" shoes, so he did. After breakfast he wanted to lounge and watch Elmo. He grabbed his Elmo toothbrush, paci, blankie, and plopped up in the chair wearing his PJs and Crocs.

Christmas with the Peele's

Tonight we did our Christmas exchange with The Peele's (aka: BFFs)! Kaylyn was very excited to here the word presents! She jumped up and said, "presents, presents!" It was precious. Chase wanted to help her until he realized he could do his own by himself.

Chase got a very cool Thomas the Train carrying case with 3 trains! Thanks Dave, Marie, and Kaylyn!

Kaylyn got the 40 piece Potato Head with large carrying case and a monogram straw cup! They both loved their presents!

Lunch at Chuck E Cheese

I think Chase and Landon enjoyed themselves at Chuck E Cheese today. Both boys liked walking around and exploring their environment of games and toys! It's really exhausting to keep up with them.

Chase rocked his new Thomas Crocs with his Thomas shirt he got back in Oct. when he visited Thomas at the train museum.....the shirt says, "Junior Conductor" on the back and of course, he had to stop at the train table to see the action at Chuck E Cheese!

Landon was such a big boy at Chuck E Cheese....he enjoyed this monster truck very much and was SO cute driving the steering wheel. This pictures just cracks me up because he has 1 hand on the wheel and looking out the window as if he were stuck in the mud trying to back out :)

This mallet was a little heavy for Chase to hold, but he tried a couple of times

He will find basketball anywhere we go!

This was a rare picture....the whole time we were there you couldn't get them to stand still beside one another for a picture....both had their own agenda of what to accomplish!

10 Year Reunion!

My high school friend Lisa and I along with our husbands and kids met today for lunch at Chuck E Cheese. Lisa lives in Sneads Ferry about 4 hours away, but was up visiting family for the Holidays, so we took advantage of getting together after 10 years and letting our little boys run wild in the adventured filled place. Hopefully we will meet again before 10 years! The picture below is hilarious....I was looking at her husband's camera and she was looking at Rich's camera and the 2 boys were too interested in the singing puppets!

Living Room or Toy Museum?

Toys have literally taken over our living space! Rich mentioned on the way back from visiting with his mom that he wanted to convert our guestroom into Chase's play room, but our biggest challenge will be finding a new space to store the bed, nightstand and armoire in there now. We will probably paint the play room and move all of Chase's things in there.....Daddy is anxious to have this done quickly. Nothing like a new Wilder renovation to pursue!

Mass Confusion at McD's

Rich and I took Chase to the mall for a bit today. Unfortunately, our mall doesn't have a play area for kids.....maybe I should advocate for one! There is a pit area that is completely empty....bummer! We took Chase down to the pit so he could run "free" from the stroller for awhile, but the only thing he wanted to do was give me a heart attack climbing the all tile stairs and running along the VERY steep carpeted stairs/seats....so we bolted! We decided to take him to McDonald's just to play in the PlayPlace! This is when I think Chase is the cutest..... He can't be trusted and is definitely too small to climb those 20 feet tall disgusting and rather confined tunnels to get to the slide, so Mommy always has to tag along! After we climbed 3 times, he noticed the back of this little girl's head and said, "Ha-De." He sure thought it was his cousin Haylie. I felt bad when she turned around, but he still wanted to hang out near her as if she were Haylie. He did call her that a couple more times when she was leaving with her parents. He then told her bye-bye and called out Aunt Rie-Rie's name. Good thing he knows Aunt Rie-Rie is Haylie's Mommy.

My Big Elephant

Chase is watching ELMO on tv while sitting on his Big Elephant wearing his Thomas the Train Crocs! This is a boy who is learning to utilize as many gifts as possible :)

Christmas at Nana's

On Friday we drove to visit and stay overnight with Rich's mom. Cousin Haylie, Grannie Fay, Aunt Rie-Rie and Uncle Rich came to visit too. Chase and Haylie simply adore one another and had the best time hanging out! They snuggled up together several times on the beanbag chair. Chase got a Cow and milk jug bowling set, A Mega Block dumptruck, A Mega Block bulldozer, Thomas the Train Crocs, An outfit, 3 Books, A puzzle, A big Elephant, and 2 stuffed animals. He had a great time!

What a cool elephant present Chase got from Grannie Fay. Chase made the elephant sound as soon as he opened it.....PRICELESS!!!!

Exhausted after opening gifts

Chloe's Present from GG

The 1st baby is never forgotten! GG bought Chloe her new bed...a motorcycle shaped bed that says, "FUZZUKI" on the back-hahaha!!

Mommy's Present from Chase!

AWWWWW..... what a super SWEET gift from my VERY thoughtful husband and LOVABLE son!

My Photothrow to snuggle up with on the couch! I LOVE IT!

Presents from Mommy and Daddy

I forgot to post these after the Santa blog...oops! Chase enjoyed opening all of his presents after he discovered his Santa gifts. Mommy and Daddy got Chase some ELMO slippers, A Baby Einstein book with CD, A Baby Einstein DVD, A Discovery Toy's Boat, Clothes, A Monkey Blanket, Baby Einstein Picture Cards, etc......

He absolutely LOVES this boat!

Christmas at Granny's

Christmas Day afternoon we drove to visit at my Mom's house. Chase racked up.....he got some ELMO hard-flap books, A Thomas the Train tricycle, A Children's Place giftcard, A couple of boxes of clothes and pj's, Straw cups, A Thomas DVD, An ELMO DVD, A Baby Einstein Musical Book, and frankly, I can't remember the rest. :) He and Bryson had a fun day with GG, Granny, Auntie Bonnie, Special K, and Memaw!

Santa Came to Visit Chase!

Mommy got up Christmas morning and ran downstairs to videotape and snap pictures of Chase and Daddy walking down to see what Santa brought for Chase. Chase almost jumped out of Rich's arms when he laid eyes on the train table! He ran over to it and then came back to his stocking to get the other cars to put on the train table. I think he was VERY pleased with what the BIG GUY brought for him!

A large train table, cars, trains and a stocking STUFFED to the rim! What a lucky boy!

His favorite part is the bridge!

Unloading my stocking: A Thomas DVD, Sesame Street characters, A monogram straw cup, ELMO toothbrush, O-ball, light-up toy, and an ELMO see-n-say, of course the big guy brought him some Sour Patch Kids too!

My letter from Santa....it will definitely have more disguise as the years go by :)

ELMO Live

GG knew exactly what Chase wanted for Christmas. ELMO Live!! YAY! Chase ripped the paper back enough to see his face and he immediately said, "help!" He wanted us to help get him out of the box.

He knew where to push ELMO to make him talk. What a smart boy!

Baking Cookies for SANTA!!!!!!!!!!

Rich and I had the BEST time this year baking cookies with Chase!!! Of course, I am the "dress up" for the occasion queen, so we had to put Chase in the proper attire for the big event. He LOVED every minute of it!!!! And SO DID WE! We let him participate in all the fun, even licking the spatula!

These were his "sho-buls" haha

Adding the yummy chocolate chips!!

Helping Mommy stir it up!! What a big helper he is becoming!

Check out the dough/flour on his hat.... :), but right now he's feeding Chloe a couple of raisins!

We love these family traditions!!

Not too bad....I'm a good baker afterall
Helping my Daddy too!

The final product! Santa LOVED them....only left 1/2 a cookie and crumbs!
