Shoes=Outside, Right??

Well well......this is Chase's newest habit/routine/whatever you want to call it. He comes home from school, grabs the shoes we keep on his toy chest (even if he has on shoes), clicks them together creating the "sign" for shoes, runs for the backdoor, points, and grunts!! He wants to go outside every afternoon regardless of the 150 degree temperature :) It's just amazing to watch him communicate his wants and needs through--he is truly ALL BOY!!!! I'll post a pic of this behavior soon...keep checking back with us!!

WOW!!!

It's so hard to believe that Chase is growing by leaps and bounds!! He has been creating and imitating sounds and some words for awhile now, but tonight just really put things into perspective! Some of the words he has used in the past are: "mama" and "dada," "Ni-ni" (night-night), "cat," "tee too" (thank you), "o, o, o, oooo, ot" (row, row, row your boat), "ulp" (help).....however, tonight was just really sweet!! My granny came to visit a few weeks ago and took Chase around our house pointing and labeling all of the pictures we have in our kitchen and living room. After she left, Chase constantly pointed to the pictures and I would label just as she did. Tonight, Chase pointed up to the pictures and said, "Che".......for Chase!!!!!!! It was the SWEETEST sound I have ever heard!!!! (not including the word "mama!") :P

He is getting more precious everyday---I just wished time would go by a bit slower!!

Splish, Splashing in the pool!!

Ok....so this is late, but better late than never!!! I just started this site...give me a break :) I'm putting up a few pictures of Chase on the 4th of July! We went to City Lake Park and enjoyed the kiddy pool with a few friends! Chase doesn't care much for his float though....he seems to have a big problem being restricted. He would much rather walk around, splash, taste the yucky pool water, and just scare the stinky out of mommy and daddy! Please enjoy these pics.....he's a ham!

What a goober....

Could I have picked a worse color to read....I totally thought the text color would be on the white background...not blue!! I would have never picked blue on blue.....how do I edit?? Help!
