Chase and Mommy's McDonald's Date Night

Mommy got out cheap on her date tonight....A whopping $10 and *free* entertainment! We both had dinner and dessert and then ran like crazy through the Playplace! What a fun night with my little man. He was the most absolute sweetest thing at dinner. I think he gave me over 11 kisses.... can't wait for another date night with my monkey!

Chase's L-O-N-G hair

Chase's bath after his *rockstar* hair-do!! His hair is getting so long, but I'm partial to it and having a difficult time finding the perfect "Chase" look. I think he does look good with shorter hair. He tends to look more on the preppish side, but it is fitting for him. BUT I also like him with the longer look and that seems to fit too. Decisions, decisions! For now, I will keep styling it a variety of ways until we figure out what to do next. At least he likes getting his hair styled!

Trying a "New-Do"

Chase's hair texture is heading in the same direction as mine.....coarse like a horse's mane, but will hold any kind of style, up-do, curl, etc! Yesterday morning I decided to *do* his hair with Daddy's hair bondage style gel. This stuff is super sticky, but since it was a bath night, I wanted to try it out. Chase sat very still for Mommy and enjoyed getting his hair styled. He even said "Cheese" when I busted out the camera. I wanted to create a "messy" rockstar look, but after he decided to *help* me style it, he looked more like Doc Brown from Back to the Future!

Mommy and Chase

Taking a moment to pose with my "lovebug"

Bryson and Chase

After dinner the boys enjoyed the "almost done" playroom. I still have so many loose ends to finish in that room before I feel it will be complete. Oh well, nonetheless, they had a great time. They have no clue that it is still work in progress.

Special K helping Chase build a tower so he can crash it.

Bryson was deep in thought as he built his tower.

Bryson enjoyed this cause and effect boat.....he laughed so many times playing with it. SO CUTE

Chase crawled under his large sit on elephant and said, "Where Chase go" while laughing.....we were laughing at his hair when he crawled out.

Chloe lounged

The night ended with them pushing one another's hand away because they both wanted to push the buttons on the book :o)

Bryson Came to Visit

Rich is out of town for a couple of days, so Krystal and Bryson came over for dinner and a playdate! What a fun time. Hopefully they will visit again real soon!!!!

Chase wanted Mommy's hand in this picture. I swear he will be 16 still asking to hold my hand. It's his soothing technique in conjunction with his paci and blankie. It's SO sweet, but now his little habit is turning into a 'must-have.' He doesn't like when I ride in the passenger's seat of Rich's truck without reaching to the back and holding his hand. Sometimes I just ride in the back until he falls asleep. :o)

We threw a last minute dinner idea together. Next time, we'll think of something creative for the boys to help us cook!!!

Chloe going Night-Night

Last Friday night, Carrie (Aunt Rie-Rie) came to stay the night with us. Chloe made herself comfy on Rie-Rie's mattress.

My 1st set of Dominos

Mommy is teaching Chase how to play Dominos.....he loves them, especially since they have Sesame Street characters on them. He is getting better each day.

Bryson Enjoying a Cupcake

*ABOVE* Bryson enjoyed a Valentine's Day Cupcake
*BELOW* just another cute shot on another day!

Block that SUN

When Rich and I went to Charlotte for the Nascar Experience, Chase and Bryson went to Durham to visit GG. Neither of them like the sun in their eyes!!!

Roller Coaster

They took advantage of every toy inside

Relaxing in our PJs

Must Have Been Good

Two "naked" boys

The fun continued, the floor got wet, the hair and body got clean....so lived the dirty boys!

Knocked Out

He sleeps so peacefully and LOVES his bop-bop too death! That was the greatest invention. We still use it!

Evidence doesn't lie! :)

Mommy: "Chase is that a twinkie cake lying on your plate?"

Chase: stunningly looks at the person taking the picture....."Are you sure you asked my mom?"
Bryson: picking up his half of the twinkie cake...."dude just eat it, we're on vacation."

*TOO FUNNY!

Laid Back

They look like a set of grumpy ol' men sitting here, EXCEPT 100 times cuter!!!!

Tickle Fight

Not sure who won...but Chase appears to be so happy

Messy Hair!!!

This followed the messy eating....their hair was so nasty looking

Messy - Messy Eaters!!!

They were plenty more "messy" eating pictures!

Pictures from Chase's Stay at Granny's

I have finally uploaded the pictures of when Chase stayed at my mom's while Rich and I were in Cabo. I have only selected a few to showcase his week. It looked like he had a grand ol' time, especially since Bryson was around!

Is it a Smurf or Chase?

Chase had a great day at school today. I was surprised considering he didn't wake up in the best of moods this morning. He didn't even want to eat breakfast. He did eat a good snack at school, so maybe that perked him up. Another thing that perked him up is when Ms. Netta told the class it was time to paint! Trust me, I have no clue why he insists on eating paint. It truly cannot taste good. Not to mention it colors up his diapers too :o) I just think it's hilarious that he won't try most of the foods we offer, but no matter the color of paint he will take a bite!

He is pointing to his teeth because I told him they were blue

"The Circus"

Some of the pictures below may appear blurry. It was challenging to fight against all of the camera flashes and bright lights during the show. We captured what we could.

Here are the "neighs...." Well at least that is what Chase calls them :o)

This dog was hilarious....he was riding a scooter. All of the dog tricks were amazing!!!

Chase even enjoyed watching the clown shows

The elephants were just the BEST part of the entire show.....well at least that's mine and Chase's opinion!

Chase laughed when they went "night-night"

Rich really enjoyed the Tigers!

They sat up so cute
