Photos for the day of LOVE

I took Chase outside last week when the weather was nicer to capture some candid pictures of him. I wanted to use one or more of them for a Valentine Day picture card. I fell in love with one in particular for the card. Cannot wait to mail them out!

I picked the one above!!! He looks so charming in this picture, so it was a perfect face for Valentine's Day!

Chase's Present from his GG!!

Poor GG and poor Chase.... Since the weather was not cooperative during the Christmas Holiday, Chase had to wait to receive his present from GG until the weather was warmer. We didn't let Chase open the present UNTIL he could use it. We refused to let him unwrap it or even see that he had another present. I knew he would want to use it immediately. It was well worth the wait!!!! Unfortunately, GG was not here to see him open it the day it was warm, but we did videotape and send her a picture! Chase was thrilled and had the best time jumping!!! Thank you, GG!!

When Chase has fun or concentrates, he sticks out his tongue... he did it the majority of the time while jumping!

Strange Bird

Rich left the house to run an errand and I noticed this strange bird on the rooftop of the house behind us. Chase was fascinated and watched it as it sat there until he flew away. We haven't seen the bird since that day.

Christmas at R's Family

The day after Christmas we traveled to visit with Rich's family and celebrate the Holidays. We had a fun and again, enjoyed some great food. Chase had fun opening his presents.... he received a big kitchen from Grannie Fay, lots of pretend food, an refrigerator alphabet leap frog, smaller mega blocks, etc... from NaNa and he got a large truck and art supplies from the Charleston's (Aunt Rie-Rie, Uncle Rich and Haylie bug)!

Christmas with B's Family

We traveled to my mom's house on Christmas Day to see everyone and eat some delicious food. Wow! It was a bit crowded and somewhat chaotic, but isn't that what the Holiday Season is all about! It was great to see the boys excitement to open presents. They are slightly spoiled :)

*above* Jackson- he was so cool and happy the entire visit. He cooed to everyone and laughed a few times. What a sweetie!
*below* Bryson- he loves being silly with his Aunt B!! He just warms my heart and gives me the bashful look when I approach him. He is such a cutie!

Chase is standing in front of the Christmas tree and presents and I'm sure he's wondering why he can't turn the tv on.... haha!! That's my sweet, lovable little boy!!!

Bryson and Chase received large remote control cars from Granny!!! They loved racing them up and down the hallway!!!

Bryson was so excited that Aunt B, Uncle Richie and Cousin Chase gave him some of his Thomas the Trains he wanted!!!

Chase loved his Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and his Thomas the Train 5 pack!!

Krystal and I gave Mom a photo blanket of her 3 boys for Christmas!!!

Opening Presents...

Chase was so excited to open his presents (in between playing with the gifts from Santa). Chase was tickled to receive his sleigh bell. He still has it in his bedroom.

From Mommy and Daddy he received several big engines from Thomas the Train, a big 40 piece Potato Head, more Cars, a travel Thomas the Train set, and more accessories to add to his cars and trains, art supplies, etc...

Yes, that *is* lip gloss you see from his stocking.... Santa knew that he kept taking his Mommy's lip gloss, so he was nice enough to bring Chase his own :)

From Santa

From what we know... (uhmm), Santa had a great and long time setting up Chase's presents. He had to figure out how to get all of these new Thomas the Train accessories to connect on the table, how to set up the Cars racetrack and how to deliver Chase a "sleigh bell" in a box *just like* the Polar Express Movie!

Santa had his work cut out for him to say the least :) The expression from the cutest little boy I know was priceless and worth every bit of Santa's hard work!!!

Christmas Treats!

Chase left some very special treats for Santa and the Reindeer! He loved sprinkling the Oatmeal and Glitter on the lawn so the Reindeer would see it glisten from the sky and would stop at our house to deliver presents! He did make a recommendation that the sidewalk was better for the sprinkles since we had snow. This way the Reindeer wouldn't get wet. Haha!!

My Letter....

The big guy left me one, too!!!

Christmas Cookies for Someone Special....

Chase loves, loves, loves to bake with me!! I'm so happy he enjoys it!! This captures some of the fun we had while baking cookies for the man in the red suit, with the white beard, and black boots! We made a variety of cookies that all tasted delicious!! This truly is my most favorite time of the year. I love making heartfelt memories with my lil' monkey, Chase! I sure hope he treasures all of them for many years to come! What a fun time!

Why so serious?
