Friday Afternoon Adventures!!!

Today Rich and I wanted to get the little guy out of the house for some family fun. We first visited the Science Center, but to our disappointment the Animal Discovery Zoo closes at 4pm and the museum at 5pm--we arrived at 4:15pm....bummer! So we decided to visit the Children's Museum since they have late Fridays. Chase loved the museum just as he did the first time he visited. He crawled through tunnels, tried to put everything tangible into his mouth (yuck!), rode in the little tykes car, played in the ball pit, interacted with legos, loved the firehouse, and most of all, he enjoyed watching everyone else his size play! Rich and I giggled at Chase when he stopped to observe the other children....each time he placed his hands behind his back and stood still. After the museum visit, we went to the mall for some yummy dinner and visited the pet store! Chase refused to "pet" anything....he would much rather observe and often touched the glass. We did hold a little dachshund....mommy's favorite kind of pup!
