Breakfast at my new Table

Mommy has been wanting for a "very" long time to get Chase a "wooden" table with chairs. We actually had a fold-away table with an umbrella and chairs that had never been used.....and since I witnessed a cast on a little girls arm that I work with due to a fold-away chair (she almost severed her finger off), I refused to even let Chase use it, so we gave it to Nana to keep at her house. Rich has heard me talk of getting Chase a table and chairs for a long time, so he was eager for me to see this one yesterday. They didn't have any left....I was devastated, but my hubby asked if we could buy the display....YAY :)

Chase was allowed to eat breakfast at his little table this morning.....I don't think it worked so well. He kept taking a bite and getting up to walk around. Baby steps, right? Maybe we're not quite ready for that just yet. He sits at school at his little table, but he wanted to play while eating this morning. Tonight when he got home from school, I said, "It's time for dinner" and he ran to pull out the chair. I felt bad making him sit at the big table in his highchair, but for now we will do art activities at the little table and maybe snack time.
