To start our day early was not in the plan because it SNOWED, but because Chase woke up not feeling well. Rich woke up around 6 am and said we did not have power. As he was going downstairs to get the flashlight, he heard Chase, so I said to bring him to our room since the heat was out. Rich brought him to me and said he had vomited all in his crib! Poor baby!!!! Rich and I both felt awful.....mainly, because we heard him coughing around 2ish and that was followed by a 'weird' sound. But since he didn't cry or call our names, we thought he was coughing in his sleep. I had NO clue he vomited....that scares me half to death thinking he did it and I didn't know and he was in there for 4 hours miserable :( After we stripped his clothes and bedding, he was pretty much wide awake from there, so that's why we went outside so early in the snow. Rich and I both thought he vomited because he has been struggling with lots of phlegm while coughing, but around 11:30am he had the most horrendous diarrhea..... this doesn't look like a promising day of him NOT being sick! He hasn't eaten anything except 1/4 banana all day long! I'm desperately trying to get fluids in him though! He LOVED on his blankie all over the house once I got it washed and dried. I was so afraid we were in for a rough day without blankie. He asked for it several times when the power was out. I wanted to just cry because I couldn't give it to him.....he was so nasty from being in the crib. As soon as the power came on, I threw all of his favorites inside to take a bath!

Skylyn did that one night and we didn't go in either. I felt awful, but apparently it didn't bother her since she went back to sleep and I also didn't mind not having to clean up puke in the middle of the night.
Poor baby...I hope you feel better soon Chase.
