Sick Little Baby Boy!

With good reason I haven't blogged in a while. Sorry. The last week of May through us for a loop. Chase was so out of character!!! He was lethargic, not eating, crying, whining, screaming, feverish at times, and didn't want to play one bit!!!! This was new for us. I mean don't get me wrong, he has done all of these things before, just not at this length in a while. We took him to the doctor and they said he had a viral infection. Poor baby! After a couple of days (with no sleep---for all of us), we realized he must be trying to teeth those last 4 (2yr) molars in addition to the diagnosed viral infection. I think Chase lived on Tylenol and Motrin for an entire week. We tried to get him to eat everything and anything. He consumed a couple of cheese puffs and licks of a push-up, but mainly just milk. We set up a mattress downstairs in the living room because he couldn't make his mind up on where and how long he could sleep. Rich actually slept on this mattress a couple of nights, so he could get some rest since he still had to work the next day. Chase was so pitiful. We are still getting back on schedule. Every night is still a battle of how long he will stay asleep before he wakes up. Hopefully he will be back to normal before too long. As you can see in the pictures he couldn't stay awake long enough to eat anything. He fell asleep with his hand in the cheese puffs and while trying to eat the push-pop.
