Happy Halloween "Trick-or-Treat!"

We had a great 2nd Halloween with Chase. We had a little party to celebrate and Special K, Bryson, Dave, Marie, Kaylyn, James, Vickie, Reese and Micah joined us. We cooked 2 crock pots of chili, made some delicious "fattening" cupcakes, decorated sugar cookies, made BLT dip with chips, of course had some candy, and topped it off with some frozen wallaby darns! *The kids had milk :) Nonetheless, the kids had no clue what was going on and Chase started saying, "Ni-Ni" at 6:30pm. I guess he was pretty tired from school. Oh well, we had a power struggle to get him into costume and then he got a 2nd wind and started acting ......WILD!!! We tried to use the wagon and push buggy car to cart the kids around....Chase and Kaylyn were the only ones that seemed to want to ride in the beginning and that didn't last much past 2-3 houses. We trick-or-treated at a total of 4-5 houses.....talk about lots of candy :) The good thing is, they have no clue what candy is and really had no clue about what they were doing. I'm sure next year will be slightly different.

A pause in action. Once Chase got released from the wagon and realized the 25-30 other kids/adults walking around in the street.....he started running fast and giggling really loud. It was the sweetest sound!!!

Before the costume! He was in need of his paci the majority of the night....he was so exhausted!

Kaylyn in her very pretty party dress!

Chase's hero: Daddy!!!

Chloe participated in the Halloween festivities!

Kaylyn dressed up as the "queen bee!"

Bryson dressed up as a "gorilla!" This costume even had a little butt area like a real gorilla....he was the most hilarious costume on him!! He rocked it well, especially with that blonde hair sticking out!

1 of the 20 times Chase took a face plant while running crazy outside in the dark. He must have thought running in the dark and being around a mass of people was the greatest thing EVER! He laughed and ran from Daddy, Mommy and Special K. He even persuaded Bryson to run away. We must have looked so silly running after him.

Everyone was so thirsty when we came back inside

Chase had a meltdown because he didn't want to come back in!! Poor baby
***More pictures to follow about his first "sucker" experience!!!
