Christmas Tree Ornament Chaos!

I grew up only having "colored lights" on our Christmas trees. I envied those who always had the pretty white light trees with matching ornaments. Maybe because you always want what others have and they want what you have. Who knows. When I bought my house, I also purchased the biggest, fattest, pre-lit tree with all white lights :) I then bought matching ribbons and ornaments and other house decor too! It looked right out of the magazine (haha!). Well this year, we changed things up a bit and it resembles our childhood. We added 2 strands of colored lights to the pre-lit white tree and added more personal ornaments that obviously do not match. I actually really like our tree this year. I feel more kiddish and I light it every morning! Sometimes a little change is good for us all.

Chase loves his ornaments at the bottom of the tree, especially ELMO and the candy canes.
