"Choo-Choo..."

Our house has been invaded! By Thomas the Train....whoo hoo!! Or should I say...."Choo-Choo!!" We do not buy character related items, clothes, etc..., but I knew one day we would have to direct Chase in a character direction or he would pick one himself. The way society is I would rather pick the character I want him to envy or look up to. I thought Thomas was a good choice because it's written by a priest who is a grandfather himself. That's a winner right there. Not to mention we can work on numbers, color recognition, transportation, facial recognition, and creativity by building really cool tracks! We plan to take Chase to visit and hopefully ride Thomas in early October at the Train Museum in Spencer....we hope he likes it. He started saying, "Choo-Choo" yesterday! He has been approximating the word "train" for awhile. We live so close to the railroad tracks he hears them all the time and points and tries to say "train!"
