Let's Get our Party on at the Reception!!!!

After our HOT limo ride we all got to cool off in the reception. Waiting outside the doors to be announced was difficult for Chase. It was 7:10pm and he was HUNGRY and SLEEPY! Chase typically eats dinner at 5:30pm and he is in bed usually by 7:00-7:15pm. Rich and I did our best to refrain from getting frustrated that he was whining since this was definitely out of his routine and out of all of our control. Thank goodness Rich's uncle fed him snacks at the church. After we were announced we had a very delicious dinner. Chase enjoyed some of his favorite foods: strawberries, cheese, bread, a few bites of chicken, cucumber and crunchies. Once he finished eating he was ready to party!!! Most often he was the only one running through the dance floor. His cousin, Haylie, enjoyed hanging out and dancing with him throughout the night. Mommy and Chase stayed long enough to eat, do a few group dances, watch the couple's dance, hear a speech, and watch the beginning of the cake cutting...........then it was 9:30pm. We knew it was time for bed when Rich's mom, Chase's Nana, took a wet napkin and rubbed his face ever so gently and he was nodding off to sleep....it was the sweetest thing you ever could see. As you can imagine, it didn't take Chase long to go to bed when we got up to our room.
