We knew it was coming!!!

Chase had his 15 month checkup today. We almost didn't have a checkup because the doctor's office was concerned our insurance company wouldn't cover the visit since Chase will not be 15 months old for another 10 days. Luckily, we didn't waste our time because Rich called the insurance company to verify the early visit was okay. Chase had a great checkup. He weighs 22.6 lbs, 31.75 inches long and was on track developmentally. Way to go! Now for the not-so-fun part.... Chase was officially diagnosed with a right ear INFECTION and the left ear was close to being infected. So we were given more antibiotics....UGH!! Well this was not the worst part of the visit.... the bad part was the doctor had to pull his skin back on his lil' major. She basically took a tool and cut a slit because the extra skin had grown together....OUCH!!!!!!!!!!! He screamed hysterically. Mommy had to walk out of the room to refrain from losing it herself. I felt so bad for my lil' baby. I guess antibiotics for 10 tens and then back to the ear doctor for a hearing test on Sept. 30th. Hopefully this process will end soon.....I think we are definitely leaning towards tubes.
