"All By Myself"

Today we took Chase to eat at McDonald's so he could play afterwards! Usually Mommy wiggles her way up in the tunnels and down the slide, but today she did not. We have been visiting many Playplaces lately (not always eating there....just playing indoors), since Chase loves climbing and sliding. We visited the McD's at Friendly shopping center today and we were happy to know they didn't have the tiered steps. This Playplace was all inclusive through tunnels with knee pads to help you crawl through. The only way out was the slide and the only way in was the very bottom tunnel opening. Many of the tunnels had windows which was also nice. Daddy thought Chase would be fine doing it by himself.....of course, Mommy was a bit hesitant, but knows that Chase has extremely developed motor skills and he is awfully brave, so she spread her wings! Chase climbed in and turned around to look at Mommy. Mommy gave him the "go ahead" so he took off! It took him a couple of minutes to weasel himself up all the tunnels (it was floor to ceiling), but every window he got to he looked and said "hey" while waving or smiling. He then made it to the very long and windy slide......"wee." He loves sliding on his belly and he repeated this several times before time to leave. What a big boy!
