Remote Control "control"

After dinner last night, Rich, Aunt Rie-Rie, Chase and I were sitting in the living room watching tv. Chase found his remote control in his toy bin (We gave Chase an old real remote control when he was around 9 months old because he wanted the real one so badly). He held his remote control up towards the tv and began to push the buttons. Rich realized what he was doing and he hid the activated remote beside his leg and started changing the channels. Chase was simply amazed. He truly thought he was channel surfing! Carrie and I were laughing hysterically. Rich then said, "I wonder what he would do if he I put it on his favorite character?" Carrie and I then started encouraging Chase to change the channels, so he would push even more buttons. Rich then played an Elmo show that was DVR'd......Chase was ELATED!!!!!!!!!!!! I cannot put into words how happy he was. His mouth opened as wide as it would go, his eyes were so big and bright, and he said, "Ah" in the sweetest voice you have ever heard! It was such a genuine expression that we 3 will never forget!!!!!
