The Peddlers!!!!! WATCH OUT
Any time you travel out at night these poor desperate kids approach you and try to sell you their trinkets..... One of the little girls next to Rich tapped him on the arm and said, "Please senor, make my day!" We usually just gave them the money and denied the whistle, toy, etc..

This same thing happened to us in Jamaica. A couple of times some ladies took our camera out of our hands, took a picture of us, then wanted us to pay them for doing so. We did pay them, but after a couple of times, we didn't fall for it anymore. I did enjoy handing money out to the little kids though; they were always so excited about it.
